University of the Mountains Excursion to the Municipality of Apokoronas, Chania

Dear fellow travelers, good morning,

The next excursion of the University of the Mountains will take place in the Municipality of Apokoronas, Chania, on Friday, February 27, 2026, with the following activities:

-Peer-tutoring of students at the Vamos High School with the participation of students from the 2nd High School of Chania.
-Medical examinations by medical professors with their teams, in Kournas, to vulnerable groups of the local population,
-Café of the Mountains in Kournas, with topics related to self-sufficiency, handicrafts, the Sacred Art of Weaving, nutrition, hypertourism and the development of an endogenous, autonomous household economy.
